Yuzvendra Chahal talks about Dhanashree Verma demands
Indian Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and choreographer Dhanashree Verma have been grabbing headlines following their divorce rumours. The couple is often seen sharing cryptic posts, raising more speculation. Well, amid this, an old video has emerged in which Yuzvendra claims that Dhanashree demands diamonds after every fight.
The video is from Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 11. During the show, Chahal visited Dhanashree and revealed that she had demand diamonds as a makeup gift after a fight. Hosts Rithvik Dhanjani and Gauahar Khan invited both for a competition. They had to take turns holding up placards with a mystery word and guess what it said within 10 seconds. When Dhanashree’s turn came, her placard had word diamond. After the couple guessed the word, Chahal told Dhanashree, “Joh humesha aap demand karte ho.” Dhanashree asked, “What?”
Dhanashree was unable to guess and when Chahal went on to explain, “Jab bhi ladayi hoti hai uske badd aap kuch na kuch demand karte ho.” Dhanashree revealed that she demanded an apology after every fight. But she failed to win and was shocked after seeing the word and asked Yuzvendra when she demanded a diamond. Chahal later clarified that Dhanashree never demanded diamonds.
Although nothing is confirmed by Dhanashree or Yuzvendra, multiple reports claimed that the couple has parted ways after certain issues cropped up in their relationship. They were in marital bliss until some time back when reports about their rumoured separation began surfacing on social media.
On Sunday, cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal shared an Instagram story in which he shared a quote about self-worth and resilience by late industrialist Ratan Tata. The quote highlights that one’s worth does not diminish because of the perceptions of others. “Your value doesn’t decrease based on someone’s inability to see your worth. -Ratan Tata,” read the post shared by Yuzvendra Chahal.
