Hansi Flick has warned his side not to lose focus ahead of Saturday’s La Liga clash with bottom side Real Valladolid.
Barca ran out 7-0 winners when the two teams met earlier in the season and are hot favourites to clinch the three points.
Yet Flick knows the game is a potential banana skin and must be taken seriously.
“It’s our job to get back to La Liga, it’s the most important thing, it’s the most honest title if you win it because you have to play at the highest level all season,” he told reporters.
“It doesn’t matter where Valladolid will play next season, right now they are in La Liga and we respect that.
“It’s very important to win these games, you can lose La Liga in these games and we already suffered a lot in the first half of the season against Las Palmas and Leganés, the team knows what these games are like and is mentally focused, I’ve seen the energy in training.”
The Barcelona boss is expected to rotate his team for the match and took a check on youngsters Dani Rodriguez, Noah Darvich and Landry Farre in training on Friday.
