In one of the promotional interviews, a journalist asked Laxman Utekar if the latter had any other actor in mind besides Vicky Kaushal during the scripting stage. Laxman replied, “Vicky Kaushal has always been my only choice for Chhaava. Even in my dreams, he has been my hero for Chhaava.”
