Vaadivaasal is a long-mulled project of director Vetrimaaran’s starring actor Suriya in the lead. The movie was announced under Kalipuli S Thanu’s V Creations, but for years has remained undeveloped for reasons best known to the makers. Now, actor Suriya has moved on from the project for good, clearing that he is no longer part of Vaadivaasal.
Suriya however will be doing another project with producer Thanu, over the commitment made to the filmmaker. Currently, Suriya is part of projects like Suriya 45 with director RJ Balaji, and a bilingual film Suriya 46 with Telugu director Venky Atluri.
