Mumbai, January 24 – After the historic success of Gadar 2, Bollywood star Sunny Deol teamed up with Telugu director Gopichand Malineni for mass entertainer Jaat which is the director’s maiden Bollywood project. Telugu giant Mythri Movie Makers produces the film with People Media Factory.
On Friday (January 24), the makers announced the release date of this much-awaited action drama. It has been confirmed that Jaat will hit the big screen on April 10 this year in Hindi and the dubbed versions of Telugu and Tamil.
It is to be noted that Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi’s highly-awaited courtroom comedy drama Jolly LLB 3 is scheduled for an April 11 release and if things remain unchanged, it will be the second round of epic box office clash between Akshay and Sunny after 2023’s Gadar 2 and OMG 2.
The plot details of Jaat have been kept under wraps but it is said that Sunny will be up against 5 antagonists in the movie. It stars Sunny Deol in the title role, alongside Prashant Bajaj, Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher and Regina Cassandra.
