
Singer Fazilpuria Aka Rahul Yadav Attacked By Unknown Assailants, Narrowly Escapes Shooting Near Gurugram
Haryanvi music sensation Fazilpuria, best known for his hit track Ladki Beautiful from the film Kapoor & Sons, had a terrifying brush with fate on Monday, July 14. The singer-rapper, whose real name is Rahul Yadav, narrowly escaped a targeted shooting near Badshahpur on the Southern Peripheral Road in Gurugram. The singer escaped unharmed.
Fazipuria survives planned shooting attempt
According to reports in News18, unidentified gunmen opened fire on Fazilpuria’s vehicle in what appears to have been a planned attack. Several rounds were fired at his car, but the singer miraculously escaped without injuries. Eyewitnesses stated that the assailants fled the scene immediately after the attack, leaving behind shattered glass and panic among onlookers.
The Gurugram police have launched an investigation into the incident. While the motive behind the attack remains unclear, officials are probing possible links to previous controversies and rivalries in the regional music industry. CCTV footage from the area is being examined to trace the attackers. As per an India TV report, sources said that recently STF (Special Task Force) had received an input that miscreants were planning to target a singer.
