Shah Rukh Khan rents two luxury duplexes in Mumbai’s Pali Hills for Rs 2.9 crore annually, with a stamp duty of Rs 2.22 lakh. Lease registered on February 14.

Shah Rukh Khan has rented two high-end duplex apartments in Mumbai’s Pali Hills, Khar West, on a three-year lease. As per property portal Zapkey.com, the actor will pay an annual rent of Rs 2.9 crore, amounting to Rs 8.67 crore over the lease term. The combined monthly rent for both units is Rs 24.15 lakh. The lease agreements, registered on February 14, also mention a stamp duty of Rs 2.22 lakh and a Rs 2,000 registration fee. The duplexes are located in Puja Casa and cover the first, second, seventh, and eighth floors.
The properties belong to the Bhagnani family. One apartment, owned by Jackky Bhagnani and his sister Deepshikha Deshmukh, has been leased to Shah Rukh for Rs 11.54 lakh per month, with a security deposit of Rs 32.97 lakh. The other, owned by producer Vashu Bhagnani, is rented at Rs 12.61 lakh per month, with a Rs 36 lakh deposit. Both leases are for three years.
This comes soon after Gauri Khan applied for permission from the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) to expand their iconic home, Mannat. The proposal seeks to add two more floors to the six-storey annexe, increasing its built-up area by 616.02 square meters.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan, who had massive hits with Jawan and Pathaan in 2023, is now gearing up for King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The film is rumoured to feature Abhishek Bachchan and Suhana Khan. King Khan also assured everyone that the upcoming movie would be entertaining and that everyone would love watching it in theatres.
Previously, at the Locarno Film Festival, Shah Rukh Khan opened up about King and said, “It is an action drama, it’s a Hindi film. It’ll be interesting. I’ve been wanting to do a film like that for some time, and I really wanted to do a film like this for seven, eight years. We just felt Sujoy would be the right choice, because we wanted it to be very emotionally correct. We are all coming together to make a cool, massy, action, emotional film.”
