Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge India likely to launch soon



The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will be launching in India very soon and the device has been spotted on BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) website. The device is the slimmest model of the S25 series and was initially teased at Samsung’s Unpacked event in January. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.

According to a report by gadgets360, the slimmest smartphone of the Galaxy S25 series has appeared in the BIS website. Even though Samsung has not yet announced the availability of the device in the regional market, the appearance of the device on BIS website confirms the same. Earlier reports have mentioned that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will be making a debut in the global markets on April 16. Even though the availability of the device will be in the selected markets, it could be priced around $999 (est. Rs 86,900).

Tipster Ice Universe had also mentioned that the pricing of the S25 Edge will be quite similar to that of the S25+. Specifications of the device according to the tipster, point that the S25 Edge will have 6.65-inch display which is quite identical to that of S25+ (i.e. 6.7-inch).  However, the S25 Edge will have narrower bezels like the S25 Ultra model, mentioned Ice Universe. The S25 Edge will offer 5.84mm thickness which is less by 1.46mm as compared to S25+ model. The weight of the device is 162g as compared to S25+ (which is 195g).

When it comes to camera setup, the S25 Edge will offer dual rear camera setup which is different when compared to the other S25 series device. The processor, UI, RAM and storage options are expected to be similar to that of S25+.
