Samsung has started rolling out its One UI 6 Watch update to a broader range of Galaxy Watches, following its debut on the new Galaxy Watch7 and Watch Ultra. The update will first be available to users of the Galaxy Watch 6 series and will gradually extend to the Galaxy Watch 5, Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, and the Galaxy Watch FE.

The update includes additional tools to assist users improve their health tracking and fitness performance. Take a look at the new upgrades coming with the One UI 6.

Energy Score: A calculated score based on measures such as sleep, activity, heart rate and heart rate variability, providing an overall picture of your health.

Sleep Apnea Detection: This one is among the most significant features of the One UI 6 Watch update, allowing users to detect potential signs of moderate to severe sleep apnea. The feature is authorised by the FDA.

Sleep Tracking Enhancements: Using advanced AI algorithms, the device offers a more detailed examination of sleep, including measures such as sleep movement, sleep latency, heart rate and breathing rate.

Race Mode: This is a significant feature for the athletes, as it will track the real-time performance when running or cycling and compare it to previous statistics to encourage improvement.

Workout Routine: Provides personalised training plans by mixing various activities based on each user’s fitness goals.

Suggested Replies: With the AI-powered feature, users can quickly respond to messages when paired with a compatible Galaxy smartphone.

Double Pinch Gesture: This new significant feature allows users to manage their smartphone straight from their wrist to answer calls, take photos, dismiss alarms and more.

Additionally, the update brings a variety of new and customisable watch faces, combining style with functionality. These include; Spatial Number, Simple Digital and the Ultra Info Board. The Simple Digital face has a basic look, while the Ultra Info Board face lets consumers access important information at a glance without sacrificing style.
