Xiaomi has announced that its Redmi Note 14 smartphone series will launch in India on December 9, marking an earlier release compared to the lineup’s typical January timeline.
The lineup is expected to include three models — Redmi Note 14 5G, Note 14 Pro 5G, and Note 14 Pro+ 5G. These devices were first introduced in China this September.
The company has been teasing the lineup’s artificial intelligence capabilities and camera innovations, with the tagline “Super Camera. Super AI.” The announcement showcased the series’ new squircle camera module design.

According to previous reports, all models may feature 6.67-inch OLED screens with 120Hz refresh rates. The Pro+ variant is expected to run on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset, while the Pro model may use a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor.
Camera specifications for the Pro+ model reportedly include a triple rear setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor, 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and 50-megapixel portrait telephoto camera. The Pro version is said to share similar specifications but with a 2-megapixel macro camera instead of the telephoto lens.
Battery capacities are expected to vary across models, with the Pro+ featuring a 6,200mAh battery supporting 90W fast charging, while the Pro model may include a 5,500mAh battery with 44W charging capability.
