‘Ramayana’ Complete Star Cast Details Seemingly Revealed

Mumbai, July 11 – One of Indian cinema’s most ambitious projects, director Nitesh Tiwari’s epic adaptation of Ramayana, has become the talk of the town following the release of its first look teaser. The brief glimpse, which introduced Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Yash as Raavan, has sent anticipation soaring, with a wave of unanimous praise across the board.

Primary Cast Confirmed

The teaser officially revealed Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, joined by Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, Yash as the fearsome Raavan, and Sunny Deol in the powerful role of Hanuman. The visual introduction of Ranbir and Yash has already generated tremendous excitement among fans.

Rumoured Full Cast Line-Up

According to Letterboxd, the complete cast has now surfaced. Notably, Arun Govil, who famously portrayed Rama in Ramanand Sagar’s iconic TV series, returns to the epic as King Dasharath. He will be joined by Indira Krishnan as Mata Kaushalya and Lara Dutta as the scheming Kaikeyi.

Production & Release Timeline

Produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studio in association with Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, Ramayana will unfold in two parts, with Part 1 slated for Diwali 2026 and Part 2 expected in Diwali 2027. The epic will be released globally in multiple languages and formats, including 3D and IMAX.

The film’s visual effects are being handled by DNEG, the studio behind numerous global blockbusters. Musical legends Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman are collaborating on the score, setting the stage for a truly cinematic mythological experience.
