Poco F7 Ultra launched Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC: Know about its specs, features, more

Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Poco, has launched a new flagship level smartphone under the new generation F series models. The Poco F7 Ultra comes with some premium features that could counter several flagship models housing a similar Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Alongside the latest chipset, the smartphone comes with a new design, camera upgrades, better battery life, and more, making it a worthy consideration for people looking for a feature-filled flagship model. Poco F7 Ultra: Specifications and features

Over the years, the Poco F series has included older generations of flagship processors. For instance, the Poco F6 Pro was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 instead of the 8 Gen 3 chip. While the trend still continues with the new Poco F7 Pro, the company has introduced another model under the series, the Poco F7 Ultra, which is powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.

It also includes a VisionBoost D7 GPU for enhanced gaming graphics. It also uses LiquidCool Technology 4.0 with a 5,400mm square dual-channel IceLoop system for heat management during heavy tasks.

The Poco F7 Ultra features a 6.67-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3200 nits peak brightness. It comes with a triple-camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera with a Light Fusion 800 image sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom, and a 32MP ultrawide camera. It also includes a 32MP selfie camera. For lasting performance, the F7 Ultra is backed by a 5300mAh battery that supports a 120W wired charging.

Poco F7 Ultra price and availability

The Poco F7 Ultra has been announced in two colour variants: Black and Yellow. As of now, the India release of the smartphone has not been confirmed, but its global price starts at $599 (around Rs.51000) for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Poco F7 Ultra is available for pre-order till April 10. Alongside the F7 Ultra, Poco also introduced the F7 Pro with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which comes with a starting price of $449 ( around Rs. 38000) for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
