Supriya Pathak, known for her role in Khichdi, turned a year older on January 7. Undoubtedly, wishes were pouring from all sides for the actress. However, it was her daughter-in-law, Mira Rajput Kapoor’s heartfelt wish that won hearts. From attending any family event together to the doting MIL praising her DIL, both Mira and Supriya share a beautiful bond and glimpses of the same are often found.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Mira Rajput Kapoor posted a lovely photo of Supriya Pathak, wherein she was seen talking over the phone. The candid picture was captured by Mira and Shahid Kapoor’s baby boy Zain, and seemingly looking at the adorable camera person, Supriya couldn’t stop smiling. In her post, Mira shared a playful and loving birthday message for Supriya, humorously highlighting the exciting members of the Kapoor family. The lighthearted caption read, “Happy Birthday Mom. We are the better (half) of the Kapoors club,” followed by a rolling on-the-floor emoji.
Not only Mira but Supriya also often shows love to her daughter-in-law. Earlier, in a candid conversation, the actress praised Mira’s culinary skills and said, “Sadly, I don’t know how to click photos, and I do not have an Instagram profile, so I cannot share with you guys. But she (Mira) makes amazing food,” as quoted by Indian Express.
Supriya also called her stepson Shahid an integral part of their family. When asked if her kids, Sanah and Ruhaan discuss films with him too, she replied, “Shahid is their brother. He is their elder brother bhai! He is an integral part of the family. He is our main anchor. It is natural. They are siblings. So, they are constantly around each other. They are like any other siblings. We are a normal family.”
For those unaware, Mira Rajput Kapoor’s husband, Shahid Kapoor is the son of the ex-couple Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azeem. Post their separation in 1984, Pankaj Kapur married Supriya Pathak and they were blessed with two kids, Sanah Kapur and Ruhaan Kapoor. Meanwhile, Neelima Azeem tied the knot with Rajesh Khatter and welcomed Ishaan Khatter. But they have also parted ways. However, Mira and Shahid share a cordial bond with their entire family.
