iPhone 17 series will be getting some much needed upgrades while Apple will once again have some features exclusive to the Pro versions.

The iPhone 17 Pro models this year could see a major upgrade reserved for them
The iPhone 17 series is already in demand and over here we are taking a closer look at the latest rumours about the iPhone 17 Pro model. Apple has always tried to keep things exclusive to the Pro variant which is likely to happen this year as well. Most tipsters say the company is ready to finally bring the ProMotion 120Hz display to all the iPhone 17 series models, which means there is room for a new addition for the Pro models.
And that upgrade could be in the form of a liquid cooling system. Apple has used a different material to manage the thermal levels on the iPhone but the new reported change means the company could up the ante with its performance later this year.
iPhone 17 Pro Liquid Cooling System: What To Expect From This Change
Apple’s rumoured decision to use a liquid cooling system for the iPhone 17 Pro can be looked at in two ways. The good part is that the A19 Pro chip promises its best-ever performance bump, which explains the use of a cooling system. However, this also means Apple is worried about the higher thermal levels of the upcoming hardware, which has got the liquid cooling technology into its scheme of things.
The upgrade is big because these systems are generally adopted for high-end graphics cards and processors that really get the hearts pumping and need additional assistance to cool down.
Liquid Cooling System: What Is It And How It Works
The term liquid itself tells you that water is involved in the equation, and the cooling part is handling the overheating of a device, the iPhone 17 Pro in this case. We still don’t know how Apple plans to integrate the tech into its devices and not even sure if that will happen but it is intriguing just to look at the dynamics in play.
The company would ideally look at thin sheets of materials to help push the heating away, while bigger devices use a special water block that acts as a coolant. We don’t see the iPhone using the latter, and it is quite likely that Apple will equip the device in a way that the heat dissipates evenly from all corners. The report this week claims Apple will have a vapour cooling chamber like other smartphones have offered, to keep the iPhone 17 Pro cool.
Having said that, if Apple does make these upgrades, which cost more money, expect the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max prices to go up a level. And this aspect has been widely discussed ever since the company announced the new iPhone 16E model which replaces the SE moniker in its lineup with a higher starting range.
