The CMF Phone 2 Pro is already making waves before its official launch later this month. The Nothing sub-brand has just dropped a short teaser that shows us the rear panel of the new phone, and it immediately gets people talking.
The back design in the teaser closely mirrors the brand’s aesthetic: clean yet funky with a sleek, textured appeal. At the bottom we find the familiar CMF by Nothing logo, while a small screw found on the back panel hints at something interesting—interchangeable covers maybe? This would follow in the footsteps of the CMF Phone 1, which had a similar modular design that users appreciated for its creative appeal.
The bottom also shows a speaker array, and the teaser carries the tagline “new finish”, hinting that the upcoming model will focus more on customization and design. The video itself is just six seconds long, but it is enough to pique the interest of smartphone enthusiasts waiting for the next CMF update.
With the phone set to go official on April 28 at 6:30 PM IST, it will be made available through Flipkart. But CMF isn’t stopping there. Alongside the new phone, they’re also launching three new audio accessories: CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a and Buds 2 Plus, which will feature the company’s said improved sound quality, battery life and sleek design for everyday use.
To give some context, last year’s CMF Phone 1 debuted at Rs.15,999 with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G processor, dual cameras (50MP main sensor), and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
With the launch date approaching, fans are eager to see how the CMF Phone 2 Pro raises the bar—and how it might shake up the budget smartphone market.
