Oscar Piastri led a McLaren 1-2 in Formula 1’s Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai.
George Russell completed the podium, far off the McLarens for much of the race but closing in on a brake issue-hobbled Lando Norris in the late stages.
There was only one retirement, that of Fernando Alonso’s Aston Martin, and one post-race position change – with Jack Doohan finishing 14th on the road but being relegated to 16th due to a time penalty.
