“I’m really excited and a little nervous. These events are on a completely different scale to what I am used to,” she said.
“I see it as an opportunity to keep learning, keep pushing myself and hopefully inspire the young people and staff in my school community along the way,” she added.
Earlier this year, Ms Ogden also reached the CrossFit Games semi-finals in the 35-39 year-old category.
She says the fitness competitions require a huge amount of work.
“Preparing for CrossFit competitions means training before and after school and at weekends to make sure I balance it alongside my school leadership responsibilities,” she said.
“It takes planning, discipline and support.”
