The company’s revenue from operations increased 0.4% to ₹5,486.9 crore as against ₹5,484.9 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.
In the power sector, BHEL secured an order for the supply, erection, and commissioning supervision of six 800 MW steam turbine generators. Additionally, the company, in consortium with a global OEM, will design and execute 6,000 MW ±800 kV HVDC terminals for the Bhadla–Fatehpur transmission project.

In the transportation segment, Indian Railways placed orders for various components, including 6,531 KVA traction transformers, high-speed traction motors, and 107-teeth bull gears. Further, the company received orders for power transmission equipment—comprising eight 315 MVA 400 kV transformers, eight 160 MVA auto transformers, and one 500 MVA 400 kV transformer—from utilities.
From the mining sector, BHEL won a contract for the supply and supervision of the erection and commissioning of a 60 MW steam turbine generator. In the oil and gas segment, it secured an order for the supply and erection & commissioning of a heater package for an expansion project at an oil refinery.
In a significant development in the space sector, BHEL received its first major order from NewSpace India Ltd, the commercial arm of ISRO, for the supply of 5,733 units of 5Ah lithium-ion cells. On the international front, BHEL expanded its global footprint to 92 countries with an order for the supply of soot blower lance tubes to Guatemala.

The results came after the close of the market hours. Shares of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd ended at ₹239.65, down by ₹8.40 or 3.39% on the BSE.
