Barcelona are said to be in talks to sign exciting 17-year-old Brazilian youngster Ze Lucas from Sport Recife.
According to a report from Marca, Barcelona are “in advanced talks” to land Ze Lucas and a “positive outcome” is expected soon.
Ze Lucas is an exciting talent who plays as a defensive midfielder and is a regular in the Serie A Brasilerio despite only being 17.
He also captains Brazil’s Under-17 team and has clearly caught the eye of the Catalan giants.
Zé Lucas (Sport Recife), DM, 17
Small but mighty DM, strong dueller, very good balance and agility. His height and physicality makes him such an effective ball winner whilst also being so press resistant.
Turns out of pressure so smoothly and passes through the lines. pic.twitter.com/3AyhmD2MTq

There are no other details provided so we’ll have to see if this deal goes through, but it certainly follows a recent trend by Barca to look for young and exciting talent.
The Catalans signed Mali wonderkid Ibrahim Diarra earlier this year and are also going for Roony Bardghji this summer.
Barcelona obviously hope such talents can make the breakthrough but if not they can still potentially help the club financially if they are moved on at a profit.
