It’s Father’s Day, and social media is flooded with heartfelt posts as people everywhere are celebrating their fathers and showering them with love. Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has also shared a heartfelt post celebrating her father, Colonel Ajay Kumar Sharma, as well as her husband Virat Kohli, father to their children Vamika and Akaay. The actress shared a happy picture of her dad from Vamika’s birthday celebration. The next picture showed a sweet surprise from 4-year-old Vamika for her father Virat Kohli!
On Sunday, Anushka Sharma took to her Instagram to post two photos. The first photo showed her father, Colonel Ajay Kumar Sharma, happily posing at Vamika’s birthday bash. He is seated comfortably with headphones on, surrounded by beautiful pastel pink balloons and party décor in the background. The next picture features a Father’s Day greeting card with a heartfelt message for Virat, signed with his daughter Vamika’s handwritten name. The message on the card read, “He looks like my brother. He is funny. He tickles me. I play makeup with him. I love him so much and he loves me this mjuch (arms wide). Vamika.”
Sharing the post, Anushka wrote, “To the first man I ever loved—and the first man our daughter did …. Happy Father’s Day to all the beautiful fathers everywhere.” Check out the lovely post below!

Fans gushed over Anushka’s post, and while one fan commented, “The way Vamika wrote her name (heart emoji),” another one wrote, “This is sooo cuteee.” A third fan gushed, “Awww Vamika’s signature.”
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot on 11th December 2017, in a beautiful wedding ceremony held in Florence, Italy. On January 11, 2021, they welcomed their first child, daughter Vamika. On 15th February 2024, the couple welcomed their son Akaay.
