AMC to build gym, reading room in Bopal
The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has unveiled plans to build a modern gym and a reading room in the Bopal area in the southwest zone of the city. This new facility aims to improve access to fitness and education for approximately 80,000 residents.
The two-storey building will feature a state-of-the-art gym on the ground floor, equipped with advanced exercise machines, and will include separate changing rooms and washrooms for men and women. The first floor will house a dedicated reading room, offering a wide selection of books to encourage reading and learning.
The AMC has allocated a budget of Rs 2.76 crore for this project, which is expected to benefit around 80,000 residents.AM
