Allu Arjun and the team are currently aggressively promoting Pushpa: The Rule slated to release on December 5. The pre-sales of tickets have already started and with the speed with which these bookings are being made, it is guaranteed that Pushpa 2 is going to get a mammoth opening. However, amid these promotions and the joy of getting a good response, Allu Arjun has now received a setback.
It is a known fact that Allu Arjun often calls his fandom or fanbase collectively as “Army.” He has been doing so for a long time now. However, during the promotions of Pushpa 2, this word was used more frequently and hence resonated more among the general public.
And it has put him into trouble. The superstar invited fresh trouble for using the term recently at the press meet in Mumbai leading to a police complaint against him. A post on X says that Srinivas Goud, the president of the Green Peace Environment and Water Harvesting Foundation has filed a complaint against Bunny at Jawahar Nagar Police Station, Hyderabad for calling his fans army.

During his recent press meet in Mumbai, Allu Arjun said, “I don’t have fans; I have an Army. I love my fans, they’re like my family. They stand by me, they celebrate me. They stand for me like an Army. I love you all. I will make you all proud. If this film becomes a big hit, I will dedicate it to all my fans.”
Goud in his complaint has said that using the term “Army” for his fanbase is disrespectful as it refers to Armed forces that protect the boundaries of the country. While this complaint may not affect the success of Pushpa 2 , it can trigger a war between fans on social media. It has become quite common for superstars to have their fan clubs and groups of fans who fight out with the fans of the other superstars.
