Akshay Kumar is known to be one of the highest paid actors in the country. Not to mention, he’s also been the highest tax payer at many instances. In 2022, he was the highest tax payer in India and had given Rs 29.5 crore to the Income Tax Department. The actor was also awarded Samman Patra (honour certificate) from the department.
Meanwhile the actor also has a number of properties in India and abroad. As per a recent report, the actor has recently sold off his high-end apartment in Worli at around Rs 80 crore. This is according to the Property Registration records obtained by IndexTap.com, which is a date-driven home buying platform. This apartment was at Worli’s 360 West Tower. It has been sold off on January 31.
This apartment was on the 39 floor of Tower B and sprawls across 6,830 sq. ft as its carpet area. It also came with four parking spaces. A stamp duty of Rs 4.8 crore has also been paid for this trasaction. Meanwhile, a few weeks ago, the actor sold off his apartment in Borivali East for a whopping Rs 4.25 crore. This informatin is as per the property registration documents assessed by SquareYards. The actor had bought this aparment in 2017 at Rs Rs 2.38 crore, thus there’s been a 78 per cent appreciation in its value.
At the moment, Akshay and Twinkle live in a sea-facing apartment in Juhu. On work front, Akshay is currently shooting for Priyadarshan’s ‘Bhoot Bangla’. The actor was last seen in ‘SkyForce’ which is still running in theatres. It is a decent hit for Akshay after a while and the actor is set to return to comedy this year. It has been recently announced that Priyadarshan is set to direct ‘Hera Pheri 3’ now which sees him along with Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty
