Karan Veer Mehra’s Bigg Boss 18 victory in January this year left a few disappointed. While some argued that Vivian Dsena deserved to win the show, others claimed that Rajat Dalal should have lifted the trophy. However, in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Abhishek Malhan, who also participated in Bigg Boss OTT 2, explained why Karan deserved to win Salman Khan’s controversial reality show.

“He has also given his best. He was one of the most important parts of Bigg Boss 18. I saw Karan, Vivian and Rajat in the top three. That was my take. I thought Chahat (Pandey) would be the fourth finalist. Digvijay (Singh Rathee) was also very strong. This season had a lot of strong contestants. But I did not watch the entire season, I saw some bits of it and then I stopped watching it because I think it became only about fights. I didn’t like that part. I saw some bits of the show later via Instagram reels,” Abhishek told us.

“I was sure that Rajat wouldn’t win the show. I also thought that they introduced Vivian as the winner of the show. He was being called ‘Ladla beta’. If Vivian would have won, everyone would have called the show rigged,” he continued.

Abhishek AKA Fukra Insaan further praised Karan Veer’s game in Bigg Boss 18 and added by saying, “I have a friend who is also close to Karan Veer and I told him long back that he is going to win the show. When Karan finally won, he texted ‘How did you know?’ See, Rajat could not have won the show. Vivian must have received good votes but people would have called the show rigged then. Therefore, Karan was the choice.  And, he deserved it also. He did very well.”

However, Abhishek Malhan also explained that one must not be disappointed for not winning Bigg Boss. Malhan, who was also the first runner-up of Bigg Boss OTT 2 which Elvish Yadav won, said, “Life starts after Bigg Boss. People should realise this. Bigg Boss can only give you a push. In the end, what you do after Bigg Boss is what matters.”

The YouTuber expressed gratitude to the show for giving his career a major push and added, “When I entered the Bigg Boss house, I thought I could stay there for a week or two. I had no clue that this step would change my life so much. I always thank Bigg Boss that it gave me that push. People got to know me more. It increased my family on YouTube and Instagram. Bigg Boss has been wonderful. But I also understand that it does not do that for everyone.”

Currently, Abhishek Malhan is hosting Game Of Greet, which streams on JioHotstar. Talking about the show, he concluded by saying, “The show is all about expressing yourself, showing your emotions, explaining why you need the money, and manipulating the other person into convincing them that you’re going to share (the money), and then you snatch. That’s the game. It’s all about delusion or dilemma. I always say this: In this game show, money walks, money talks and loyalty works, but with every decision, either you win the money or you deceive the other person.”
