It seems the celebrity world is currently facing a troubling wave of MMS leaks, pulling stars, one after another, into controversy. The latest to be caught in “explicit video” storm is Indonesian celebrity Lydia Onic. A video purportedly showing Onic has gone viral on social media, with many claiming that the woman in the 12-minute-long clip is indeed the star. News18.com cannot independently verify the authenticity of the claim.
Onic, popular figure in the gaming world, boasts a following of over 1.1 million on Instagram. She is the brand ambassador for ONIC. Amid the ongoing controversy, she posted a picture of herself on her Instagram Story. She, however, has maintained silence regarding the alleged leak.
The alleged video leak involving Onic follows closely on the heels of similar incidents impacting Pakistani TikTok stars. A few days back Imsha Rehman found herself in hot water after her explicit video went viral. Many have accused her of leaking the footage intentionally to gain attention and boost her follower count.
As per a viral screenshot of her TikTok account, Rehman addressed the explicit video in her bio. She wrote, “Jab tak video viral hai maine ne ID off kar di hai [Till the time video is viral, I have deactivated my account].”

In a similar case, Minahil Malik faced a scandal in October when a video showing her in intimate moments with her boyfriend surfaced online. The leak drew mixed reactions as some speculated it was a publicity stunt, while others stood with her during the rough phase.
In response to the viral footage, Pakistani actor Mishi Khan offered a harsh critique of Malik, accusing her of resorting to extreme measures for fame. Although Khan did not mention Malik by name, the timing and content of her remarks appeared to be directed squarely at the TikTok star.
In the video, Khan condemned likened Malik’s situation to a scene from the Bollywood film Heroine, in which the character played by Kareena Kapoor Khan leaks her explicit video to gain popularity before the release of her film.

Malik, who has been on the receiving end of both backlash and support, released a statement on Instagram: “It was not easy for me but I’m done. It’s hard to say goodbye. No fights. Spread love. I’m leaving. I will miss you. I love you. Take care.”
