The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has set the interest rate on employees’ provident fund (EPF) deposits at 8.25% for the financial year 2024-25, according to PTI sources.
The EPFO has more than 65 million subscribers. Monitoring your PF balance allows you to keep an eye on the progress of your funds and guarantees that your contributions are accurate. Each employee is given a unique 12-digit number called a Universal Account Number (UAN), which they can use to manage several PF accounts linked to various employers. UAN activation is essential for easy access to your PF account balance and to avail other services.
