Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu starring Citadel Honey Bunny web series are currently one of the most loved and watched ones. The show has impressed fans with its storyline and action scenes. Today, the actor shared another set of photos with Samantha which has been trending. Fans are demanding a second season already.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Varun shared scenes which he played with Samantha. Both are looking cute together. “we promise falling in love is as good as they make it look,” read the caption. One of the fans wrote, “Adorable agents.” Another wrote, “Sam and varun are looking perfect together and sam is so gorgeous.”

Samantha also thanked her fans for their love. Her performance has been getting a lot of praise. Taking to her Instagram handle, Samantha shared different photos with praise-worthy reviews from media houses. “Tears of joy, It has been one hell of a ride,” read the caption.
Samantha revealed that she initially pleaded with filmmakers Raj and DK to replace her in the show due to her health issues. Samantha Ruth Prabhu confessed, “I begged them to move on because I really didn’t think I could do it. I was really sure I couldn’t.” She even went so far as to provide a list of other actresses she believed would play the role with perfection. Samantha stated that she sent other recommendations. She recalled saying to them, “Look at this heroine, she is so amazing. She will kill it. I beg you, I can’t do this.” According to the actress, she sent four options to them as she was not well.

An excerpt from the review read, “Citadel: Honey Bunny does a solid job as a spin-off that gives us a glimpse into young Nadia’s life — a mere six-year-old here — setting up the world for what we see in Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s Citadel. This Indian prequel is stylishly made, with a grand, cinematic scale that draws you in. It has its moments, especially as it moves forward; the action sequences are top-notch, and the suspense amps up with each episode.”
