The grand finale of Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 18 was held on Sunday night with Karan Veer Mehra emerging victorious and taking home the grand prize of Rs 50. Other contestants who were a part of the finale besides Karan were Vivian Dsena, Rajat Dalal, Avinash Mishra, Eisha Singh and Chum Darang. After the grand finale, Avinash finally addressed the romance speculations surrounding him and Eisha.
While speaking to ANI, Avinash said that he and Eisha are not romantically inclined towards one another and only share a friendship. “It was never a love angle. People have a lot of questions and hopes about us becoming a couple, but trust me, we are really good friends. If anything happens in the future, I will definitely let you know,” Avinash said.
When asked about Karan Veer Mehra’s win, Avinash said, “I wanted to win, but it didn’t happen. Karan winning is very well-deserved. I’ve appreciated him many times during the game for his efforts. The audience decides the winner, and their decision must be respected. Karan played really well and truly deserved it.”
Avinash and Eisha were not the only finalists who were speculated to have a love angle on the show. Throughout winner Karan Veer Mehra’s Bigg Boss 18 journey, his bond with Chum Darang became a highlight and fans appreciated their support for one another. Some even speculated that the two shared a romantic connection.
During an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha, Chum Darang was asked if she had a romantic bond with Karan Veer Mehra. “This friendship will go on. Hum logo ne sirf ghar ke andar ke liye friendship nahi banaya hai, definitely. The friendship will continue outside the house also,” she said. When prodded further to reveal if she and Karan are romantically involved, Chum laughed and said, “I don’t know that.”
The Bigg Boss 18 finale was held in Mumbai’s Film City on Sunday, January 19. The mega show, hosted by Salman Khan, was attended by several celebrities including Aamir Khan and Veer Pahariya. Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan joined his son, Junaid Khan, and Khushi Kapoor to promote their upcoming movie, Loveyapa. Former Bigg Boss finalists, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain also attended the finale and talked about their upcoming show, Laughter Chefs 2. While Karan Veer Mehra won Bigg Boss 18, Vivian Dsena was the runner-up.
