“When we were walking up to where the Hyrox was on, my heart went through my feet,” says Cathy Reynolds. “There were all these girls and they were all young. Instagram girls with braided hair and a full face of make-up and so young. And I thought, ‘What am I doing here?’ But you know what, I belonged there as much as the next person.
“It was outside of my comfort zone, but I trained and I was part of a relay team, so we did a quarter of it each, but I did it. And I got four days away in Malaga.”
