
Two Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) from Andhra Pradesh died in a road accident in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district on Saturday. Their vehicle reportedly crashed into a lorry from behind at high speed.
The victims were identified as DSPs Chakradhara Rao and Shantha Rao. Additional SP Prasad and the driver, Narsinga Rao, sustained serious injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Preliminary investigations point to overspeeding or driver fatigue as possible causes. The officers were en route to Yadadri on an intelligence-related assignment.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is ongoing.
