Apple iPhone Fold Launch Date And Price In India
All the rumours until now have suggested that the iPhone Fold will be launched in the second half of 2026. Keeping that in mind, we can expect the device to make a debut alongside the iPhone 18 Series in the traditional Apple September event of 2026.
As for the pricing, it has been said in a report by Mark Gurman at Bloomberg that the phone will be priced above $2,000 in the global market. Though that converts to Rs 1,72,385 in the Indian market, still, high chances are that it will be priced above the Rs 2,00,000 price point in the Indian market.
Apple iPhone Fold Display, Specifications And More
The latest leak related to the Apple iPhone Fold has suggested that it will come with the biggest battery that we have witnessed in any iPhone until now. It will pack a 5000 to 5500mAh battery, as reported by Wccftech. And the reason behind this could be the inclusion of a bigger display, of course. Speculations are that the device will get an OLED panel like other flagship iPhones in the market.
Now, one thing that we need to understand here is that Apple is not coming up with a groundbreaking innovation this time. Instead, the company will resort to making the foldable space feel premium. To achieve that, rumours have it that Apple is already working on making the device’s display a crease-free experience for users with a large cover display. The outer display could measure around 5.5-inch and the inner panel around 7.7-inch.
It is also being said that the phone will ship with a highly optimised iOS 27 for a seamless experience. Currently, only a limited amount of details related to the phone are available online. We may get to know more about the same in the near future, most probably after the iPhone 17 series launch.
