What happens if IPL 2025 final is washed out on reserve day?
As informed earlier, a small delay should not be a problem on the day of the IPL 2025 final as there will be 120 minutes of extra time to complete the match. But in case the match is moved to the reserve day due to rain and play is not possible on 4 June as well, then the team that finished higher in the league stage will be declared IPL 2025 champions.
According to this, PBKS will win the IPL 2025 trophy if the final is washed out on the reserve day, as they finished ahead of RCB in the point table. Both teams finished on 19 points, but PBKS had a better net run rate than RCB.
