An Arlington strength training gym hopes to open this summer on the ground floor of a new Virginia Square office building.

M2, a fitness studio by Method Fitness, has signed a lease at 3901 Fairfax Drive, joining the nine-story building’s growing tenant lineup, according to a release from developer Skanska. The acclaimed gym currently has one outpost on Langston Blvd.

M2 will offer personalized training programs in cohorts of four to six people, founder Aryan Siahpoushan told ARLnow. He hopes to open the gym this August.

M2 will train in small cohorts

  • Over the summer, M2 will host consultations to place prospective customers into one of 26 groups based on individual goals and fitness levels.
  • Classes will be held daily on the hour, with cohort members training about two to three days per week.
  • Monthly rates are estimated to range between $650 and $1,200, Siahpoushan said.

New office tenants announced

  • Financial advisory firm Evermay Wealth Management has also leased 14,500 square feet of office space at 3901 Fairfax Drive, according to the release.
  • An “undisclosed asset management company” is expected to occupy another 12,000 square feet of office space.
  • With these new tenants, Skanska reports that the building is now 17% leased.

New bistro expected in ‘late 2025’

  • The Angie, an American French bistro on the building’s ground floor, was previously projected to open this spring.
  • The restaurant is a project by For Five Coffee Roasters and D.C.-based Balos Restaurant Group.
