Barcelona currently sit seven points clear of Real Madrid at the top of the table in Spain after beating their bitter rivals 4-3 on Sunday in La Liga.
The victory means that Hansi Flick’s side are now on the cusp of the title and don’t have to wait too much longer to be crowned champions of Spain.
Barcelona will secure top spot as early as Wednesday night if Real Madrid fail to beat Real Mallorca at the Santiago Bernabeu in their fixture.
Such a scenario is unlikely, meaning that Barcelona could then win the league the following day when they face Espanyol in the Catalan derby.
A victory for Barcelona would do the job and would bring back memories of 2022/23 when they won 4-2 to seal the title and were then chased off the pitch.
As it stands, Barcelona simply need two points from their final three games of the season to be crowned Kings of Spain and complete a league and cup double.
