CeeDee Lamb Says He Spends $1.3 Million a Year Maintainin…

CeeDee Lamb is sparing no expense when it comes to keeping his body in peak condition.

Like many professional athletes, the Dallas Cowboys wide receiver has dropped serious coin to maximize his on-field performance and potentially boost his career longevity. He spoke about his health and fitness routine in a recent interview with Complex, revealing he spent a whopping seven figures annually on body maintenance.

“I’m not going to lie. It’s a lot of money,” he confessed. “Every two weeks is $50,000… There’s 52 weeks in a year… That’s your number.”

That’s right, the 26-year-old athlete spends $3.1 million a year to ensure his health and fitness are on point. Lamb said a large chunk of that sum goes toward his recovery routine, which includes everything from ice baths and steam room sessions to red light therapy and hyperbaric chambers.

“The list could go on and on,” he said. “What I do for a living, it’s very physical, and some short weeks are more lethal than your regular seven-day schedule. So I’m just staying on top of that and always trying to replenish the body, stay hydrated, keep my muscle functioning up, and trying to get a lead on my opponent.”

The NFL veteran also uses nutrition as an important tool in his health regimen, prioritizing hydration-boosting products like BodyArmor. Lamb has been working with the sports drink company for several years and was tapped to star in its national rebrand campaign, “Choose Better.” The  Louisiana-born, Texas-raised athlete said the campaign promoted a self-empowerment mindset that reached far beyond the world of sports. It encouraged others to strive for greatness in their day-to-day lives.

“[It’s about] waking up and making the right decision at all times,” he explained.  “Just trusting your work, trusting in everything that you believe in. Did you make better decisions than you did the day before?”
