Shiv Sena functionary Rahool Kanal, who was arrested for vandalising The Habitat Studio over Kunal Kamra’s alleged remarks against Maharashtra deputy chief minister Eknath Shinde, has now made a sensational claim of having proof that the stand-up comedian receives “terrorist funding” to promote anti-government content.

“Speak against Our Honourable Prime Minister , Honourable Home Minister , Hon Finance Minister , Chief Ministers , Deputy Chief Ministers , talk I’ll about our economy… being the 5 Th largest economy in the world is not digested by one and all.. so get such puppets like Kunal Komra and fund him with terrorist funding , support him and run it smoothly damaging the integrity and law n order of our country and the state… (sic),” Rahool Kanal wrote on X. Rahool Kanal said he would submit a request to shut down and demonetise Kunal Kamra’s YouTube channel. He also mentioned that he would share the evidence at the Khar police station and visit the YouTube office.

“Shall share the evidence at Khar police station sharp 11 am where the offence was registered and there after shall visit the YouTube office as well to share this with the team and ask them to shut his channel… Requesting Mumbai police :- 1) Kunal Kamra YouTube channel should be demonetised, no financial transactions should be allowed 2) shall share more than 300 screen shots of payments received after multiple videos against our respected PM sir and others 3) scrutiny of such accounts is very important and u can see Canadian accounts and Khalistan money coming in…(sic),” he added.

In another post, Kanal wrote, “12 baje Khar police station pe milte hai… Mumbai police se request karte hai… yeh information check kare aur action le @YouTube ko bhi letter diya jayega 24 hours mein action lene ka YouTube ko!!! Jai Hind!!! Jai Maharashtra!!!” Kanal said in a post on X.
